Seeing this, King Janaka asked the sage Ashtavakra - "God! Why are you going back? "
Sage Ashtavakra replied - "I do not sit in the assembly of fools."
Hearing the sage Ashtavakra's members became angry and one of them asked in anger - "Why were we fools?" If your body is like this then what should we do "
Then sage Ashtavakra replied - "You people don't know that you are laughing at the Almighty God, not at me." Man's body is like a hand made by a potter like God. Didn't the handi make a laugh?
Hearing Ashtavakra's argument, all the members of the assembly were ashamed and apologized to Rishi Ashtavakra.
Friends, most of us also sometimes laugh at seeing some fat, lean or black people and make fun of them how ugly they look. When we do this, we make fun of God, Allah or God and not that person.
